Ready for Spring!
We had a little taste of early spring this weekend. High 50's! I cant wait to put Melody in fun little dresses all summer. This dress I made last week, with the help of my mom! It made it 10x more fun to have my mom hanging in my sewing room (also the guest room:). I used the fabrics from Jessica Levitt's Timber line, with a little Amy Butler! Not sure yet if I'll post this style to Esty.

Heal arm....I want to sew!
I am so excited about this line of fabric from Jessica Levitt! I found it on the Hawthorn Threads website, and ordered a few yards! It's my first time ordering fabric online, so we'll see how that goes. I ordered it yesterday and already got a confirmation email that it has shipped, so i'll probably get it tomorrow! It may be a few more days until I can make any cuts though, but my arm is getting better. I have a few ideas on what I want to do with it, and may even make myself something for the spring. Stay tuned!

Punkin Threads!
Sweet Logo - check! Order clothing tags - check! List items on Etsy - check!
After a lot of research, reading and planning, I'm finally to the point of listing on Etsy! I still have a lot to get right though, but i'm getting there. Thanks to my buddy Brian, who created the logo, and really helped me get organized with things. I owe him big time! My cousin Amy answered a TON of my questions as well.
So check out my site. www.punkinthreads.com It re-directs you to the Esty site. I still have to work on my banner, avatar, pictures/wording of items, etc. but it's a start!

Need a name...
Tried a different twist on the smock shirt I made last weekend. I used Coordinating Amy Butler fabrics from her Midwest Modern collection, lined with Pink. Could be reversible, but i'd rather the fun pattern, then plain pink. I sewed up the side, so that in the summer, she can wear this without anything under it. Would look cute with a jean skirt, or plain colored bloomers which i'm sure I could find. I might try to make them, should be pretty simple! I'm loving this style, and will probably post it to Etsy soon. They say you should name your items that you post on Etsy. Any suggestions?
